On November 28th, a devastating fire shook the heart of Wortley Village, impacting cherished local businesses Sha Choix and A Village Tail. Both businesses expressed that a community fundraiser would be beneficial as they navigate through a challenging time, especially during the important Christmas season for retailers. Funds raised directly support the businesses. Up until February, all funds have been split equally between both businesses. A Village tail has been able to re-open at 160 Wortley Road, and Sha Choix has not. That part of the building may have to come down and get rebuilt. Going forward, all donations will go towards supporting Sha Choix in their continued recovery. Every donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference.
