It was great to see everyone at the February 8th OSBA Mixer at Mori Japanese Restaurant & Bar!  If you haven't been there before, you should make plans to try it out.
You'll love it!
The next Member's Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 14th at 5pm at SideTrack Café, and the next Business Mixer with free hors d'hoeuvres and first drink will be June 13th 4:30pm-6pm at the Old South Pub.
The Old South Business Association (OSBA) is currently seeking an individual who is well connected to the Old South London business community to join our Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will possess a supportive demeanour along with an alignment of the mission and values of the OSBA.
The deadline for applications is 5pm Wednesday, February 21st. Don’t miss this chance to be a part of our dedicated team and help shape the future of the Old South business community!  Apply now to be a Board Member!
The Old South Business Association would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Danielle Hoevenaars for her invaluable service as a board member. Her leadership and dedication has been instrumental in bringing together the Old South business community.

Her many contributions to the Wortley Village community including with the Christmas in the Village festival, the En Plein Air painting event and the Coordinated Wortley Village Shopping Night”, have not only brought joy to our community but also fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie.

Also, Danielle's key role helping to revive the Old South Business Association after challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic is truly commendable. Her efforts have helped transform the OSBA from being disbanded, to a thriving organization, now incorporated as a Not For Profit.

Working with Danielle has been both a privilege and a pleasure. Her passion, commitment, and drive have left a mark on our association.

Join us in thanking Danielle for all of her efforts and goodwill for the Old South London business community and residents.

Danielle, we wish you nothing but the best, and are confident that you will continue to shine and make a significant impact with your new venture. Thank you for your service and dedication. You will be missed.
The OSBA drafted a letter to City of London January 25th, 2024 in regards to expediting the rebuilding approvals for the Black Walnut Café.  A response was received on February 1st, confirming that the Black Walnut Cafe has been granted full approval for their shell permit to start putting shovels in the ground.  There are still many reports and inspections that require approvals that slow the rebuilding, but this is a great next step and the OSBA will continue to advocate for the Black Walnut and Old South Businesses.
