Thursday, December 5th 7:30pm @ the Wortley YMCA
In response to the recent fire at 160 and 158 Wortley Road, the Old South Business Association (OSBA) and Old South Community Organization (OSCO) are hosting a Town Hall Meeting to bring our community together during this challenging time. Taking place at the Wortley YMCA, this event will also be livestreamed on Facebook (www.facebook.com/OldSouthBA) and YouTube (www.YouTube.com/OldSouthBusinessAssociation) for those unable to attend in person.
This gathering is an opportunity to hear directly from the owners of Sha Choix, A Village Tail, and the Westland Gallery, businesses impacted directly by the fire, as they share updates on their recovery and future plans. Representatives from the Fire and Police Departments have been asked to join us to provide insights into their response efforts and address community questions. Additionally, you will get an update on the Black Walnut Café’s rebuilding after last year’s fire.
We’ll also take a moment to thank the first responders for their exceptional efforts and share ways we can all help support those affected by the fire.
Let’s come together to celebrate the resilience of our community and pave the way for recovery. Join us as we stand united, support our neighbors, and help shape the future of Old South.
